About the OwnerJ.D. Antol has been doing construction since High School. He started out as a finish carpenter under the apprenticeship of Master Carpenter Steve Zerbini. Quickly gravitating toward custom finish carpentry, J.D. Antol specialized in custom entry door systems, custom cabinetry, and utilizing multiple layers of crown mouldings in ceiling foyers (27 at one time). Along the way, he became a self-taught stair builder, and has built many free standing staircases and balustrades in many custom homes. He still has a soft spot for building unique stairs, since he enjoys creating "functional art". Many of J.D. Antol's family members are or have been masonry contractors, including his father, his grandfather, his brother, and several uncles. This legacy led him to fall in love with working in stone, water, and fire.
